Brits returning from the 33 countries on the red list will be required to stay in quarantine hotels under a new policy - with no exceptions.
Travellers will be escorted straight from the airport to their hotel for the self-isolation period, and will need to fork up the cash themselves with costs from £1,750.
There are currently 33 countries on the list, chosen because of the risk of Covid-19 variants in South Africa and Brazil (we've got the full list below). Only British nationals and UK residents will be allowed to enter the UK if returning from these.
Those who are returning will need to book the quarantine hotel stay through the government website which will include the hotel stay, quarantine transport and Covid-19 tests that will need to be taken on days two and eight of your self-isolation.

Just my thoughts
(This gives new meaning for cognitive dissonance, cause you’re paying big bucks for your own abuse every 10 days. By the way £1750 = $2451.66 in American money. Who wanna go pay that every 10 fucking days?
